Ton Koenraad is a member of the ICT expert group of the Dutch National Bureau for Modern Languages (NaB-MVT). His main interests are in CALL related task design, telecollaboration, CorpusCALL and tools for CLIL and 3d virtual environments for language learning. |
He has coordinated projects in the fields of modern languages and teacher education at national Higher Education level (Digital University, SURFnet) and secondary level (PRINT, Kennisnet). He participated in, coordinated and evaluated EU projects: Pronett (90819-CP-1-2001-1-NL-MINERVA-M) , MICaLL (118762-CP-1-2004-1-NL-COMENIUS-C21), Pri-Sec-Co and NIFLAR.
He acted as co-Chair of the international conference 'ICT in Education and Professional Development of Teachers' 17-18 September 2004, Leiden and was on the scientific committee of the Untele 2007 Conference. He also moderates the LanguageQuest network at www.lquest.net, one of the results of the Council of Europe project, LQuest.
He is a registered expert for the EU-LLP programme and the eLearning Europa community.
